ABOUT BACK ON TRACK PSYCHOTHERAPY

Psychotherapy is defined as the treatment of mental and emotional disorders through the use of psychological techniques designed to encourage communication of conflicts and insight into problems, with the goal being relief of symptoms, changes in behavior leading to improved social and vocational functioning, and personality growth.

Owned and operated by Sharon E. Cupler (Sherry), Back on Track Psychotherapy promises you personalized therapy and counseling tailored specifically for the challenges you face.

At various points in our lives, we all seem to get "Off Track" and may need some guidance from a caring, empathic and experienced psychotherapist. At Back on Track Psychotherapy, you will find just that. Your problems are ours and we will work with you in a manner specifically designed to help you overcome and get BACK ON TRACK.

Psychotherapy can help you understand a behavioral problem, a problem situation, mental illness or dual-diagnosis. This knowledge can help you live with the disorder whether it be temporary or permanent. These disorders can cause various issues in your life such as impaired relationships, dysfunctional families, and lack of or sporadic employment. You may determine that you need to reach out to someone capable of helping you get your life back as well as help you to explain to family and friends, if you wish to invite them, what's really going on with you.

Back on Track Psychotherapy is an expert in using both the most current and well-established techniques in psychotherapy while maintaining empathy and positive support. We feel the human element in therapy is every bit as important as the education and training of the therapist in many cases. Here at Back on Track, we truly care about you and your future.

We, at Back on Track, believe that emotional support is very important for the client. This support can come from various sources such as family and friends. If the client permits or requests family/friend participation, and the clinician believes participation is appropriate and beneficial, future sessions can be tailored to accommodate.

Although Back on Track Psychotherapy does not prescribe psychotropic medications, we realize the importance such medications play in the treatment of some patients. Because of this, we maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the treatment of clients with such psychotropic medications. If this is an option the client would like to explore, the clinician would review the proper procedures with the patient in order for the patient to secure this type of additional treatment along with the psychotherapy.

Mission Statement:

We at Back on Track Psychotherapy have one main goal in mind. We vow to provide excellent quality psychotherapy while treating you with empathy, respect and a combination of knowledge and experience, all for a very affordable price to give access to everyone seeking treatment.
